Impressive Amethyst Ring with Diamonds

First of all, a large amethyst - completely clear/eye clean in a beautiful colour, fine purple with a slight rosé tinge - is set in the middle of the ring head in a flawless checkerboard cut.

Now four diamonds are set slightly lower around the corners of the amethyst, top left and bottom right. From these settings, two elegantly curved ring band, set with diamonds, now run diagonally to each other. Both double diamond band then merge again into a wide, solid ring shank.
