Magnificent "Illusion Style" Diamond Earrings

First of all, there are oval hoops on top, which are completely set with full-cut diamonds.

Beneath this is a round white gold setting, which is set with two princess-cut diamonds in the centre and eight marquise-cut diamonds on all four sides. There are no prongs between the diamonds. The stones are cut exactly the same way, set seamlesly together and are held only on the outside by four prongs.

Again underneath, a larger, drop-shaped white gold bar is now attached. It is set with two pear cut diamonds on the top, six marquise cut diamonds on both sides and bottom, and four princess cut diamonds in the middle.

Again, all diamonds are cut exactly the same way and set seamlessly close together. There are no prongs between the diamonds, the stones are held only on the outside by five stable prongs.

Only from close up can you see that here several diamonds are set together in a highly complex setting technique. Seen from a certain distance, one might think that you are wearing a single diamond as well as a large diamond drop underneath.

Note: In order to be able to create such a piece of jewellery to the highest perfection, it is necessary to employ master goldsmiths who have many years of mature craftsmanship and experience in cutting and setting.
