Attractive Lilac / Light Purple Amethyst Ring with Diamonds

First, the ring head is dominated by lilac-colored, light purplish glowing amethyst which is oval-shaped. The stone is in turn framed by a single row of brilliant cut diamonds.

The amethyst is set into a solid setting which resembles a calyx.

This mounting in turn "flows" seamlessly into the equally solid made ring shank that swings around the finger and ends parallel to the ring head. At this point the shank is set with eight brilliant cut diamonds.

A sophisticated design since the ring shank is not completely closed. Moreover, light colored amethysts are rare to see, thus turning this ring in a piece that will not be seen at every corne.
